This was a collage homage video I was commissioned to create on behalf of The Animation Workshop. It was presented as a gift to the ambassador from the United Arab Emirates when she visited the school. This animation was one example of several freelance projects I completed to contribute to efforts to increase collaboration and co-education agreements between TAW and the UAE.

Footage for this project was appropriated, but all paper cut-out elements were created by me in Photoshop and compiled in After Effects.

A selection of other designs commissioned by TAW as part of their United Arab Emirate collaboration efforts.

One was a holiday card sent to the Embassy of the UAE in Denmark to mark the end celebration of Ramadan called Eid al-Fitr.

The other designs are logos and marketing collateral created for a summer school program that took place during July 2018. These designs were meant have distinct symbolism of The Animation Workshop, Denmark, and the United Arab Emirates.

Misc. Freelance Projects for The Animation Workshop

My success as a member of the Homecoming committee led me to be hired as the main designer for the most prestigious student led organization at Stetson University: Hatter Productions. I worked with a small team to plan and promote entertainment events on campus such as parties, shows, and concerts. There was one major event each month, and I was responsible for creating flyers, posters, necessary logos, and product designs usually for t-shirts or pins. This was a fast-paced environment that required intense time-management and detail management.

My role in the 2013 Stetson Homecoming committee was sole designer. I worked under the guidance of administrators in the Student Development and Campus Vibrancy department and collaborated closely with marketing and business students. My designs were used as promotional materials for events, as decorations during events, and on products such as t-shirts and cups.

Stetson University 2013 Homecoming

This campaign is organized by the Health and Wellness Department at Stetson University. It seeks to spread public awareness on importnat health and safety issues among the Stetson student community.

As a coordinator for the Reality Campaign I was tasked with designing posters for this goal. I photographed all subjects used in the designs. Other assets were created using Adobe Illustrator.

Stay Safe Stetson Reality Campaign

With this project I strived to design a Nat Geo Traveler magazine issue that was as realistic as possible. I collaborated with a writer, Natalie Cortes, who wrote the headlining article "Discover Poland." I then wrote and designed other aspects of the magazine including advertisements, table of contents, and a second article highlighting photography.

The predominant software used was Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. All showcased photographs are my own, except those related to Poland (magazine cover, article cover, in article photos).

I was responsible for the designs of all branding and promotional materials for the 2014 Stetson University digital arts graduating class's gallery exhibition. I created poster and flyer designs, as well as a large scale wall logo displayed at the entrance of the Hand Art Center gallery.

Software used was primarily Adobe Illustrator. However, through a unique means, the colorful backgrounds were created using the 3D software Autodesk Maya.

Feedback Digital Arts Senior Exhibition Show

The goal of this motion media design project was to create a video that married sound and type. I chose the song "Troublemaker" by the artist Grizfolk, which I then edited myself to make a shortened version.

The software used for this project was primarily After Effects. Certain assets and animations were created using Photoshop.

A freelance project I created for the musician Chad Grenier for his debut album "Chartreuse Moose." This was my first experience working for a client and I found the dynamic to be very different to what I was used to. I learned how to make design proposals and how to communicate my ideas so that the client could give me feedback. The end result was an album cover the musician was very pleased with and a design I could feel very proud of.

Another freelance project I undertook, this time the client was software developer Zachary Kisch. I wanted to create a design that was versatile and served as both a logo and desktop icon.
